Hooray!

Well, it’s been a while since I have blogged. But, Fear not I am back!

Over the past 2 months, I have increasingly been interested in Travel photography and Travel in general. I have seen lots of breath-taking shots taken by photographers from all around the world. What interests me the most is that each photographer sees this world from a different angle and just by looking at their images you feel as though you’re in their world, each of the images bring you in and almost make you feel as though your there. I wish.

I have picked out my favourite five places I would love to visit, what do you think?

Amazing!

My favourite shot is the Greek Island Santorin; this is a Brilliant shot looking far and wide at the brightly coloured village and the mountains behind.

Steps on keeping your mind healthy.

Step one

Drink plenty of water. Water keeps your brain nourished and gives in energy to focus properly.

Step two

Always think positive. Stress free life is the way forward.

Step three

Don't always think about other people's problems, when you start to think about others you end up becoming stressed and weak. You should take care of yourself first then others after. There is no point making yourself go down the drain and focusing on someone else.

Step four

Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. You see all these celebrities talk about how loosing their weight makes them feel happy and also keeps their mind happy. Those who don't exercise regularly and become very lazy makes their mind lazy. They become to think lazy and their whole atmosphere becomes lazy. Always moving around gives you a much pleasant focus and above all positivity.

Step five

Smile. One smile can change a whole day, even if it is not one of your best days. It is important to stay happy in life because you only live once and why waste it on stressing and depressing your self out.

British GQ Magazine

Well, today I bought my October 2012 GQ issue. GQ is the only magazine I buy regularly, I think it provides everything a male reader wants to read and then sum.  What I also like is how it contains different sections and is split. We have Politics, gadgets, a range of celebrity interviews and feature and on some occasions GQ holds its own events where celebrity take centre.

There are many different adverts which make you want to buy them but then looking at the prices you think "maybe some other time".

A recent article GQ published  which i really like was a personality profile feature based on the late boxer Joe Frazer. The feature contained three pages based on this amazing boxer who died. In the article Frazer fashion, lifestyle and his work was all considered. GQ does have a lot of high street fashion but this is contradicted with how much information it gives about world affairs.

This Issue features some great material with a main cover story featuring the likes of Tom Jones, Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams and the seductive Lana Del Rey all who have won various awards for 'The 15th annual men of the year awards'.

My dream job would be to work with GQ not only it is a British success in terms of as a magazine,  but it also is a WORLD BIGGEST SELLING MALE MAGAZINE!!!
This reputation it carries itself would be an honour to write for them or with them. I have a big fan of the magazine and also most of my work is inspired by the magazine and writers.

Oh and I forgot to mention I got a free 20% discount voucher on suits at H&M, also, a wilkinson shave blade. Happy all around :D

Heroes

Sometimes we take our family for granted and don't think about those who don't have a family.

I came across this video today which is highly emotional and very gripping. It's about soldiers returning home and surprising their children's and wives.

We have read many news stories regarding soldiers sadly loosing their lives while serving for our country. The soldiers who have died are the real heros, the real role models for all the younger generations. Joining the army takes a lot of courage and also comitment and I think that this world has forgotten how these people risk their own lives.

What I like about this video is how happy the children are to see their fathers and also what impact of not being able to see both your parents everyday has. I felt lucky to have both my parents support me and watch me make every move in my life and I realised that not every person or in this case child has the same feelings and emotions as me. These kids are always scared and worried about their dad's safety and continuously thinking if their dad will return home for their birthday or Christmas or on a normal holiday break.

First time blogger

I've read many blogs and just admire how bloggers have so much passion in what they write. It's like they've got a second person who they talk to.

So, it's been a year since I was told to begin blogging. It has taken me a year to even think of something interesting to blog about. Every time I get an idea I just think  why would someone want to read this?

Well...Here it goes...

Seen as though I'm a first time blogger I thought I just share what I've done today and then see how things go from there.

I would describe today as being a very productive day. I'm excited for the uni projects which are coming ahead in most of my modules apart from the theory modules which are just Zzz.

And may I mention how most of my deadlines are ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Colourfull keyboard
I was introduced to the "editing keyboard" in video journalism today. My first impression was "oh wow, how cool are the colours". I think I was just marvelled at the different colourful keys on the keyboard (embarrassing moment :/).

My neice and Nephew
A long tiring journey home and all I want to do is put my feet up with a nice hot cuppa and watch Hollyokes at 6:30-7:30, followed by Eastenders at 7:30 which takes me into waterloo road. But, instead am left with two kids to watch while mum goes to do shopping, I mean its torture if you have seen Monster inc and Toy Story 3 like fifty times and still they don't get bored of it.
